Our mini waste station set consists of four bins with lids and drawers which enables to collect four different types of waste generated in the house: plastic, metal and beverage packaging, paper and cardboard, bio-waste and other household waste. The idea to procure a recycling station like that came from the rural municipality mayor Indrek Kullam with the aim of encouraging both the residents and the institutions of the rural municipality to sort waste. And the best way to do that is to start with yourself.

For a long time we were looking for a solution that was the right size and had a beautiful appearance and would fit in our office. Sortaider recycling solution was just right for our office. As beginners in recycling, it seemed especially cool and convenient for us that the garbage bins have instructions on what kind of waste goes into each bin. Everything is solved very logically – it’s very nicely clarified which waste should be placed in the appropriate container.

We cooperated with Sortaider who also advised the team. Their first recommendation was to remove the usual rubbish bins which were placed under the employees' desks. Getting rid of them is also good for health, because this way people move around the office more. Recycling stations for collecting different types of waste were put at the entrance to the premises and on the other side of the office where the Pärnu County Business Incubator is located.

Sortaider's recycling solution stood out from other competitors primarily due to its ease of use, practicality and good appearance. The clarity of the message was also a very important aspect in the selection – each type of waste is clearly distinguishable with different colors and pictograms. A helpful addition was also the sorting guide inside the box to make the whole process as simple and clear as possible.
